Light-Duty Services
Most of our business covers roadside assistance within this range. Light duty services include Towing, Tire Changes, Jump Starts, Fuel & Fluids Delivery (including water, brake fluid and air), Lockouts, and Winching. Estimated ETA is 30 to 45 minutes.
Light Duty Services cover vehicles under 10,000 lbs. GVW.
Medium-Duty and Heavy Duty Services
This category covers motor homes; services include Towing, Tire Changes, Jump Starts, Fuel Delivery, Lockouts and Winching. (Estimated ETA for medium-duty services is 30 to 45 minutes. Estimated ETA for heavy-duty services is 60 minutes.)
Medium-Duty Services cover vehicles less than 17,000 lbs. GVW; Heavy-Duty Services cover vehicles over 17,000 lbs. GVW.
Secondary Tow Service
These services involve moving vehicles that have been in accidents from storage facilities or the insured’s homes to a repair facility. There is some flexibility in completing the dispatch.
- If the dispatch is received before 2:00 p.m., the vehicle must be moved the same day.
- If the dispatch is received after 2:00 p.m., the vehicle can be moved the next business day.
When picking a vehicle up from a storage facility, they may ask for advance fees. Those fees will be reimbursed to you along with your secondary tow fees within 48 hours of invoice acceptance. (QTS will need a copy of the advanced fee invoice in order to process payment.)
Accident Tow Service
When an owner requests an accident tow, we expect our Service Provider will deliver a response time of 20 minutes or less; the vehicle will be towed to a repair facility.
